COMMUNICATION

‘Communication’ is an age-old characteristic a person has been utilizing in order to fulfill a variety of needs such as personal and social. Communication can be linked to the necessities of life. Without communication one becomes meaningless as they aren’t able to express their desires and wants. Even now when I am writing my views on the topic put forward to me, I am communicating my ideas non verbally. So, one can say that communication is an ongoing process where there is no end.

There are various needs and few of them are listed below with how it helps me:

1.    1.   PHYSICAL NEEDS:

Physical needs are wherein your body and mind are functioning very well for which you will have to communicate to express your needs and emotion. A good example is of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs wherein he explains that the bottom line  is  Physical Survival Need which results in satisfaction of a person followed by physical safety needs, love and belongingness which is important for mental well-being, self-esteem needs and the final stage of self-actualization. Examples in my daily life:

a.      Expressing my need when I am hungry by asking if food is ready.

b.      Talking to my friends helps relieve stress – mind functioning well.

c.       When I feel lonely, I talking to someone.
