The Gift of Magi

                                                                 

It was the day of Christmas and also Thanksgiving was around the corner. Mia was very excited for this day since it was the day to gift something to her loved ones, primarily her parents.

She had faced a lot of difficulties during her teenage in terms of education and tuition for which her parents had to sacrifice a lot. Her parents were having their own small family business due to which their earning was not much. Then they had a child who was Mia. She was very intelligent in her primary school. But once she came to secondary school studies became difficult for her and she had to attend tuitions for which the fees were a lot for her parents to afford. Her parents for really worried because they wanted to do all that was possible for their only child. They had a small car which was gifted to them by Mia’s grandparent and her parents thought of sacrificing the family car in order for Mia’s education and tuition. Due to this act Mia was able to get a really good education and grew up to become settled well in her life.

On the day of Thanksgiving, she wanted to gift her parents a better car for them. So, she went in search of one and found a car which was decent in appearance. When she went to enquire about it, she got to know about the price, and it was little over budget. Since she was settled well in her life, she had a set of gold chains, earrings, and a bracelet that would cover the cost of the car. So, she sacrificed the gold set and gifted her parents a car on this beautiful day.
